Ariana Grande may be poised to see her comeback single, ‘yes, and?,’ become 2024’s first new Hot 100 chart-topper, but the song is far from #1 on the playlist of controversial political commentator/media personality Candace Owens.

Owens, no stranger to ruffling the feathers of the fan bases of some of music’s biggest names like Madonna, Beyonce, Cardi B, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, and more over the years, set her sights on Grande on Tuesday (January 16) in a vitriolic rant about the Pop diva’s highly publicized love life.
As has made headlines over the last few months, Ariana was romantically linked to her ‘Wicked‘ co-star Ethan Slater during the 2022 filming of the forthcoming film.
The problem is both were married around the time of their rumored rendezvous as she didn’t divorce her then-husband Dalton Gomez until last Fall after allegedly splitting up over the summer. Slater didn’t reportedly leave his wife and mother of his young child until July 2023.
Taking to her podcast, Candace weighed in on the rumors by branding Grande ‘filth,’ a purveyor of ‘ho culture,’ and a ‘homewrecker.’
“She has been proud of being a homewrecker really throughout her entire career. You’ve got a boyfriend or husband? Ariana’s gonna go after them. She does not care about ruining your relationship,” Owens said before detailing the alleged timeline of the singer’s time with the “unfortunate looking” Slater.
